Building human capacity and social change through
Through professional and community development experiences we observed an unmet need to conduct and use research to inform organizational programs, services and community projects.
We build, conduct, analyze, and report research, and create strategic research plans with organizations to support organizational priorities and build human capacity. We aim to develop research with a critical, social, linguistic and cultural consciousness.
ēdūcō is derived from the Latin word ēducātiō, which means to educate, train, lead, take out, raise up, and/or conduct. Research is the systematic investigation into a study of materials and sources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions. Education is our field of expertise and our value set.
We provide an expertise in qualitative methods, such as interviews, focus groups and action-based research, to reach a holistic understanding of a problem, issue or question. We also provide quantitative research, such as program assessment, measurement and evaluation through descriptive analytics.
We believe research is a tool to gain knowledge and skills, to then inform, empower, and build human capacity and social change.
